Biography: Dr. Safeer Ashraf is board certified in medical oncology and hematology at Cancer Specialists of North Florida Baptist South location. Dr. Ashraf?s areas of interest include colorectal, breast and lymphoma cancers. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Ashraf enjoys cycling and photography.

Biography: Dr. Sejal Kuthiala is board certified in medical oncology and practices at the Cancer Specialists of North Florida Southside and Baptist South locations. She began practicing medicine in 2006 when she joined the CSNF family. Her Honors and Awards include Dean?s List at UNC Chapel Hill, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Golden Key National Honor Society and Zeta Tau Alpha Achievement Award. At Cancer Specialists of North Florida, Dr. Kuthiala likes the comprehensive approach to treatment. She has over 11 years of clinical research experience in network, industry and cooperative trials. Her areas of interest include breast and colon cancers. Born in Maryland, she grew up in Charlotte, NC, and has always appreciated the relationship that doctors establish with patients and their families. ``In hematology/oncology, you get to become a part of your patient?s family,`` she says. She is encouraged as she looks to the future of cancer treatment, with molecular profiling and personalized treatment. ``These advances are pacing the future for a more directed, specific treatment for our patients,`` she says. ``It?s rewarding to work with patients and see them able to spend more time with their loved ones,`` she adds. Dr. Kuthiala says she enjoys most the patients, people, and the family environment while working at Cancer Specialists of North Florida. Outside of work, Dr. Kuthiala enjoys spending time with her children and family, reading, and cooking.
