Biography: Dr. Huang is a fellowship-trained abdominal organ transplant surgeon. and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He earned his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO and completed his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Huang then went on to complete a fellowship with the LifeLink Transplant Institute in Tampa. He currently serves as the surgical director of renal transplantation for Tampa General Medical Group and is the vice chief of general surgery at Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Huang also holds an affiliate assistant professor appointment from the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, department of surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, basketball, violin and photography. Dr. Huang is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Spanish and French.

Care Philosophy: A native of Connecticut, Dr Poch entered Brown University as an undergraduate in the Program of Liberal Medical Education. He graduated with a BA in Biology from Brown University and went on to complete medical school at Brown Medical School. He stayed in Providence, Rhode Island at Brown University to complete his urology residency training.After residency he moved to Buffalo, New York to complete a Society for Urologic Oncology accredited urologic oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. His clinical interests include bladder, kidney and prostate cancer with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery and robotics.

She believes in not only treating the disease process, but the patient as a whole.My patient care philosophy is that the patient is always my first priority. It is my responsibility and duty as a surgeon to inform my patients of all their treatment options so that we can work together to accomplish a desired goal. This includes educating them on their diagnosis and informing them of all surgical and non-surgical options available so that we can come to decision together on the best treatment plan for their condition. I always take time to listen to my patients so that I can get a better understanding of their needs. I strive provide the best surgical care by using the least invasive techniques available to allow patient a faster recovery and shorter hospital stay.
