Dr. Askari is very skilled at performing successful peripheral interventions, complex high-risk coronary interventions, cardiogenic shock and catheter based pulmonary embolism therapy.Dr. Askari received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and then went on to complete his internship at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center at Memphis, followed by his Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology fellowships.Dr. Askari is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
