Biography: Dr. Andrew Jen, MD is a board-certified fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction, complex joint replacement and general orthopaedic care. His scope of practice includes primary and revision joint replacements, trauma and fracture care, pediatric fracture care, sports medicine, and minor hand and foot and ankle surgery. He provides orthopaedic care to patients of all ages, including pediatric patients. Dr. Jen is a native of the Philadelphia area. He attended the Pennsylvania State University for his undergraduate studies, where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Pre-Medicine and Psychology, with a minor in theatre. He then completed medical school at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine before matching into orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. While in residency, he received broad training in general orthopaedic surgery care. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell Health in New York City. He has received extensive training in joint replacement surgery of the knee and hip, training under Dr. Giles Scuderi, the lead clinical designer of the Zimmer Persona Knee Replacement System. He is well versed in primary and partial knee replacement surgery, primary hip replacement with the direct anterior and posterior approach, robotic knee and hip replacement with the Mako Robotic Platform, computer navigated knee replacement with the OrthoAlign system, same-day joint replacement surgery, management of prosthetic joint infections, complex knee and hip arthroplasty revision, and periprosthetic fracture management. Dr. Jen believes in a patient-centered and collaborative approach to patient care, delivered with the highest degree of attention to ethics and patient safety. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and the American Medical Association. Outside of work, Dr. Jen enjoys cooking, barbecuing, traveling and spending time with his wife and three corgis. He looks forward to providing excellent orthopaedic care to the Fort Worth region and surrounding areas.

He received extensive training in joint replacement surgery during hisfellowship at Harvard Medical School / Massachusetts General Hospital, whichwas voted as the top hospital in the United States. Dr. Chambers has a specialinterest in MAKOplasty Robotic assisted knee and hip replacement surgery andhas performed several thousand joint replacements during his career.The MAKOplastyprocedure is changing the way joint replacement surgeries are performed byproviding each patient with a personalized surgical experience based on theirspecific diagnosis and unique anatomy using CT-based 3D modeling. The roboticarm technology allows for extremely precise placement of hip/knee replacementcomponents with potentially less soft tissue injury than traditional jointreplacement.Dr. Chambers hasimplemented the techniques learned at Harvard Medical School into his ownpractice and offers minimally invasive total hip / knee / shoulder replacement,partial knee replacement, revision surgery for malfunctioning, loose, andinfected joint replacements, and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, andshoulder. Dr. Chambers focuses special attention on surgical techniques forrapid recovery after total joint replacement which allow his patients a morepredictable and earlier return to an active lifestyle.Dr. Chambers is aTexas native and grew up in Houston, Texas. He attended medical school at TheUniversity of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and completed residency atJohn Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. After his fellowship at HarvardMedical School, Dr. Chambers moved to the DFW area where he has been inpractice since 2016. In his free time, Dr. Chambers enjoys traveling andspending time with friends and family. He is an avid sailor and enjoysparticipating in sailing races on the local lakes in the Dallas/Fort Wortharea.
