I may only see my patients for the course of several months for their prenatal care, well women visits, or gynecologic issues, but I use that time to listen to women express their concerns and meet their goals regarding their obstetric and gynecologic health. Care Philosophy: Dr Zaino completed a formal fellowship in hand upper extremity and microscopic surgery at the University of Chicago He also received training in congenital hand surgery at the National Children s Hospital of Lima Peru and microscopic surgery at the Mayo Clinic of Rochester Minnesota Most recently he completed a traveling fellowship in complex wrist arthroscopy and reconstruction at the Hand Institute of Auckland New Zealand While in Orthopedic Residency at SUNY Downstate Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn NY he was chief resident and team physician for two Brooklyn high school football teams one was his Alma Mater He completed his surgical internship at New York University Medical Center Bellevue Hospital in New York Dr Zaino also has numerous first author publications and has given several national and international presentations In medical school at New York University Dr Zaino was elected class president four times and gave the commencement valediction as well For college Dr Zaino also graduated from New York University with Magna Cum Laude and Departmental Honors in Architectural History and Urban Planning He also studied abroad in London England In his free time Dr Zaino enjoys art off road driving snorkeling traveling and building sand sculptures with his wife Joanna on Long Beach Island NJ

Biography: Dr. Eung-Mi Lee is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with advanced specialist training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. In particular, she is interested in caring for patients with endometriosis, a condition that often involves a delayed diagnosis and may cause debilitating pain and greatly impact quality of life.Dr. Lee received her MD from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed a joint MBA at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management. She completed her residency training at Boston Medical Center, followed by an AAGL-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Magee Womens Hospital. At Magee Womens Hospital, she received extensive, high-volume surgical training in advanced gynecologic laparoscopy with leaders in the field of MIGS, particularly in excision of endometriosis.Dr. Lee is interested in furthering knowledge in the field of MIGS and is completing research on using ultrasound elastography to diagnose adenomyosis and on malignant transformation rates of atypical endometriosis. She is passionate about surgical education, and has received multiple institutional teaching awards during both residency and fellowship, as well as international recognition for her educational surgical videos. She believes in creating a safe, inclusive, non-judgmental space for all patients including members of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and is honored to be entrusted with their concerns. She strives to partner with patients to serve them in achieving their goals using the best that evidence-based medicine has to offer.

Biography: Erkan Buyuk, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at RMA of New York. Dr. Buyuk has demonstrated a sustained commitment to both patient care and research. He has authored over 100 abstracts and peer-reviewed publications focusing on a variety of reproductive health topics, including the role of hormones in ovarian reserve and aging and the effect of obesity and diet on ovarian function. Dr. Buyuk's scientific contributions have received several awards, including the Society for Reproductive Investigation/Bayer Award in 2018 and the Prize Paper at the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society Annual Meeting in 2019. He was also part of the team that pioneered the ovarian tissue freezing and transplantation and published the creation of the first embryo in the world following ovarian tissue freezing and autotransplantation.

She has a special interest in reproductive surgery, and is a noted expert on the surgical management of Mllerian anomalies. Dr. Pfeifer is regularly featured in Castle Connolly's annual Best Doctor list, among other regional and national best-physician lists. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Pfeifer is active in leading professional societies as well as medical research and education. She serves as Chair of the Practice Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and has authored or co-authored original research on IVF, Mllerian anomalies and the management of hormonal disorders in adolescent girls. Dr. Pfeifer is a frequent invited speaker at regional and national medical conferences, and has been recognized for her commitment to the education of the next generation of physicians, including by the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology's Mentor of the Year Award in 2010. Dr. Pfeifer graduated from Bryn Mawr College with an A.B. in Economics. She completed her medical degree, residency (Obstetrics & Gynecology) and fellowship (Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility), all at the University of Pennsylvania.
