Biography: Dr. Kristen Pepin is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She is a specialist in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery with a passion for helping women with fibroids, adenomyosis, endometriosis, pelvic pain and infertility. She has expertise in surgical and non-surgical management of these conditions with a focus on minimally invasive approaches. She has a particular interest in laparoscopic total abdominal cerclage and hysterectomy/oophorectomy.Dr. Pepin received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honors Society. She then went on to her residency at Brigham and Women's/Massachusetts General Hospital, teaching hospitals of Harvard Medical School. She stayed on at Brigham and Women's Hospital for her fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. She also pursued a Master of Public Health degree at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Pepin has been nationally and internationally recognized for her research on minimally invasive hysterectomy. She has a particular interest inresearch on hysterectomy outcomes, tissue extraction techniques and disparitiesin surgical treatments within women's health. Biography: Dr. Cynthia Arvizo is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon with expertise in the treatment of bleeding disorders, pelvic pain, and anatomic causes of infertility. She specializes in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical approaches, including office hysteroscopy, for the management of fibroids, polyps, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, uterine septa, scar tissue in the uterus, and endometriosis.Dr. Arvizo received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After her fellowship, she joined Jacobi Medical Center, one of the New York City Health and Hospitals, where she provided minimally invasive surgeries and started a gynecology quality improvement committee.Dr. Arvizo believes that every person deserves access to safe, high-quality gynecologic care. She sits on national quality improvement committees and has been invited to lecture on increasing access to minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is committed to discussing all surgical and non-surgical treatment options and tailoring care to the individual patient.

Biography: Dr. Chen attended the University of Washington's School of Medicine to earn her medical education, after she attended the university's College of Arts and Science, earning her Bachelor's degree in biochemistry. She completed her internship at the Boston University Medical Center, learning about general surgery. Dr. Chen completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the New York Downtown Hospital, where she was named chief resident of her specialty. In 2005, Dr. Chen earned the Marvin Dunn fellowship program, in which she traveled to Shenyang, China. Dr. Chen joins Weill Cornell Medicine after practicing as an OB/GYNgeneralist in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn.She is passionate about women's health, and she provides care for patients that experience ectopic or tubal pregnancy, cervical polyps, acne, abnormal pap smears, vaginal discharge, sexual dysfunction, and urinary tract infections.

Care Philosophy: After gaining valuable experience in a private practice setting in Lower Manhattan, Dr. Kramer is excited to begin working and teaching in the place where she herself acquired the skills and lessons essential to providing women with exceptional care. She specializes in a variety of gynecologic issues ranging from management of abnormal Pap smears to family planning and contraception. She has a particular interest in the care and education of young women about their contraceptive options, including IUDs and Nexplanon devices. Dr. Kramer prides herself on creating a comfortable and trusting atmosphere for patients who may find the experience of visiting the gynecologist to be intimidating. In addition, Dr. Kramer specializes in a variety of minimally invasive surgeries for relief of polyps, fibroids and other gynecologic conditions. Biography: Erkan Buyuk, MD, is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at RMA of New York. Dr. Buyuk has demonstrated a sustained commitment to both patient care and research. He has authored over 100 abstracts and peer-reviewed publications focusing on a variety of reproductive health topics, including the role of hormones in ovarian reserve and aging and the effect of obesity and diet on ovarian function. Dr. Buyuk's scientific contributions have received several awards, including the Society for Reproductive Investigation/Bayer Award in 2018 and the Prize Paper at the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society Annual Meeting in 2019. He was also part of the team that pioneered the ovarian tissue freezing and transplantation and published the creation of the first embryo in the world following ovarian tissue freezing and autotransplantation.

Biography: Dr. Maria Teaiwa-Rutherford is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford obtained a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University and earned her medical degree at Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where she served as chief resident.Before joining Weill Cornell in 2021, Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford developed a thriving practice at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital (later Mount Sinai West), where she felt privileged to be a part of many women's lives through routine gynecological care and family planning to pregnancy and beyond. Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford was named a Top Doctor in the New York Magazine rising stars issue two years in a row and also received the Vitals Patients' Choice award. Born and raised in the Fiji Islands, Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford has a strong interest in promoting women's health in developing countries. She has partnered with international medical programs to provide free obstetric and gynecological care to women at hospitals in Fiji and Kiribati. In her spare time, Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford enjoys running and yoga. She lives in Westchester County with her husband and three children.
