Biography: Daniel S. Taylor, MD, FACS is a board certified, general surgeon who earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Cincinnati, OH. He completed his surgical residency at the hospitals affiliated with Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, Dayton, OH. During his training, Dr. Taylor was Chief Surgical Resident. He joined Miami County Surgeons in 1999 and Premier Physician Network in 2006. Dr. Taylor serves on several committees at Upper Valley Medical Center and Surgery Department Chair (2016). He has been a fellow with the American College of Surgeons since 2002. Currently, Dr. Taylor is assistant clinical professor of surgery at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.

Care Philosophy: I was drawn to surgery the first time I stepped into an operating room as a medical student.
