Biography: Dr. Feder is an experienced, board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with special interests in preconception counseling. Dr. Feder joins Weill Cornell Medicine's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology after 20 years as a senior faculty member at Mount Sinai West Hospital. She has held numerous leadership positions, such as the Director of Ambulatory Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai West, Medical Director of the Mount Sinai West Faculty Practice, and a member of the Mount Sinai West Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident Selection Committee and Executive Committee. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Feder received her bachelor's degree in history from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992. During her undergraduate career, she spent a year at King's College of the University of London studying history and English. She obtained her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1996. While in medical school, she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Feder received residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center, then a teaching hospital of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, graduating in 2000. As a resident, she was recognized for teaching excellence by Columbia's medical students. Also during residency, she was a Galloway Fellow at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Cancer Center. In 2002, she was appointed Assistant Clinical Professorof Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, a position she held until 2013. Dr. Feder is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
