Biography: I've been interested in medicine since childhood, as I observed my rheumatologist mother making an impact on her patients' lives. I, too, sought to balance my passions for people and science, and when I discovered obstetrics and gynecology, I knew I'd found my place in medicine. \n I'm drawn to the wide array of conditions that ob-gyns manage, the ability to provide both preventive and specialty care, and the use of both medical and surgical treatments to promote health. I seek to uphold women's autonomy and to promote their well-being, so they may pursue the best lives for themselves and their families. \n My approach to healthcare centers around listening to women and collaborating with them as a team to create a treatment plan. I remind myself that while I may have training in an individual's condition, only she is the expert in living in her body. \n I grew up in Charlotte and went to grade school through high school here, and I love our ever-evolving city. My husband and I have a son, and we adopted a dog and have raised two cats that were born in our backyard! We love spending time outdoors and traveling together as a family when we're able.

Biography: Supporting women through all stages of life is my passion. My goal is for women to feel empowered and comfortable within the health care system. With my background in public health, I aim to support patients in understanding their bodies and feeling comfortable asking questions. \n Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy spending time together with our dog, Graham. I enjoy running and dabbling in sourdough baking. In the fall, you can find me cheering for the Michigan Wolverines football team or supporting our Charlotte-based soccer teams, Charlotte FC and Carolina Ascent!
