Biography: Annie Fu, MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian/Allen Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Upstate Medical University in 2011 and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baystate Medical Center-Tufts University Medical Center in 2015. She then completed a fellowship in Family Planning at CUIMC and obtained a master's degree at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in 2017. Her current research interests include improving access to family planning services.

Biography: Holli Jakalow, MD, MS is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist. She received her medical degree at Albany Medical College, and completed her residency at The University of Vermont Medical Center. She also received a Master of Science degree in Complementary and Alternative Medicine from Georgetown University, and brings this interest to her clinical practice. Her other clinical interests include wellness care, contraception counseling, office-based procedures, and general gynecology. She is the Ryan Program Director and also the course director for the medical student elective in family planning.

Biography: Stephanie Purisch, MD is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist and assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She joined the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Columbia after completing residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Columbia University. Dr. Purisch is the co-director of the Mothers Center Heart Program, which provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary clinical care to women with cardiovascular disease who are pregnant or contemplating pregnancy. Dr. Purisch's primary clinical and research interest is the care of women with medically complicated pregnancies. In addition to cardiac disease in pregnancy, she also has expertise caring for pregnant women with underlying maternal pulmonary, endocrine, rheumatologic, and hematologic diseases.

Biography: Dr. Baptiste is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician and Medical Geneticist within the Department of Ob/Gyn. She cares for families with genetic disease throughout their reproductive years. Her clinical and research interests include preconception counseling for genetic disorders, care for people with genetic disorders during pregnancy and pregnancies with a genetic diagnosis. Dr. Baptiste performs prenatal diagnostic procedures including chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis. Dr. Baptiste graduated from medical school at Emory University School of Medicine. She completed residency in Ob/Gyn and subspecialty fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Medical Genetics and Genomics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Baptiste has presented at national conferences and published several peer-reviewed research manuscripts and book chapters related to reproductive genetics, clinical obstetrics, and fetal diagnosis. Dr. Baptiste is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and a member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Biography: Dr. Said S. Saab is an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He is a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in Havana, Cuba until 1998 when his family immigrated to the United States. After completing his undergraduate degree at Emory University, Dr. Saab attended New York University School of Medicine and later completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a master of philosophy (M.Phil.) at Trinity College, University of Cambridge, and a master of education (M.Ed.) in the Health Professions at Johns Hopkins School of Education, where he is adjunct faculty of health professions education. Dr. Saab provides general obstetric and gynecologic clinical care. His research focus is medical student and resident education, with a particular interest in assessments and evaluations.
