In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Chen has an interest in identifying novel therapies through clinical trials for patients with lung cancer and other tumor types. She received the Journal of Clinical Oncology Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology in recognition of her work. Biography: Meghna S. Trivedi, MD, MS cares for patients diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Trivedi received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania. She went on to complete her fellowship in hematology/oncology at Columbia University. Dr. Trivedi co-leads the Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Program, a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary initiative aimed at screening, preventing, diagnosing, and treating hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. This innovative program brings together the resources of a world-renowned academic institution, including cutting-edge genomic testing, clinical trials, and experts in hereditary cancers across different specialties. Dr. Trivedi's research and care expertise also includes cancer genetics and genomics, precision medicine, and chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy. She is the principal investigator on several clinical trials, and has authored numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. Her research investigates the complex geneticlandscape of cancer in order to develop new therapies. In the laboratory, her work has been dedicated to understanding the complex genomic landscape of cancer and developing novel targeted therapeutic strategies. Her ongoing projects include testing novel RAS pathway inhibitors in preclinical models of gastric and esophageal cancer as well as a first-in-human clinical trials for patients with NRAS mutant melanoma.

Biography: Dr. Lentzsch is a Professor of Clinical Medicine and the Director of the Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Program at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University and at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York. She is at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Columbia University Medical Center. After receiving her degrees from the Humboldt University/ Charit Berlin, Germany, she completed her residency and fellowship at Humboldt University. She did a research fellowship, studying the mechanism of action of thalidomide and its derivatives in multiple myeloma, in the Jerome Lipper Multiple Myeloma Center under the mentorship of Dr Kenneth Anderson at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA, USA. Dr. Lentzsch was recruited in August 2004 to the University of Pittsburgh and University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI), PA, USA, and served as Clinical Director of the Multiple Myeloma Program at UPCI before accepting the position as Director of the Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis Program at Columbia University Medical Center. She cares primarily for patients with plasma cell dyscrasia including MGUS, Multiple Myeloma, Amyloidosis, POEMS and Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia. Dr. Lentzsch is an internationally recognized expert in the field of Multiple Myeloma and Amyloidosis. She serves as a SWOG Myeloma Committee Member, SWOG Study Coordinator and International Myeloma Foundation "Black Swan Research Initiative" committee member. She is a member of the standing advisory board for the evaluation of Secondary Primary Malignancies associated with IMiDs.

Biography: Lisa Nathan, MD, MPH is theChief of Obstetrics, Sloane Hospital for Women, Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at CUMC. She completed her Ob/Gyn residency training at Montefiore/Einstein and stayed on to work for several years as an academic generalist. During this time, she founded the Global Women's Health Program for the Department with grant support from the Einstein Global Health Center and the U.S. Fulbright African Regional Research Program. Dr. Nathan also founded Einstein's Departmental Health Equity Task Force. The goal of this task force was to create a Departmental culture and workforce that understands the concepts of health disparities and structural racism, recognizes the ways in which society and the health system promote them, and works proactively to dismantle them. In addition to her clinical and administrative duties, Dr Nathan is also active within ACOG, where she is a member of the Safe Motherhood Initiative Steering Committee. She was the Chair of the Maternal Sepsis Bundle workgroup and is a current member of the Health Equity Subcommittee. She also serves as a consultant to the New York City Department of Health, where she serves as the Co-Chair of the Maternal Mortality Review Committee. In this role, she reviews events leading to maternal mortality for the majority of cases occurring in New York City. These reviews form the basis for the development of recommendations for city and state level initiatives to combat the root causes of the high maternal mortality rates in New York City.

Biography: Dr. Sathe completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at NYP/Weill Cornell and is a graduate of Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. She also holds a JD from Columbia Law School. Her research focuses on improving cancer care delivery and reducing disparities in treatment and outcomes.
