Care Philosophy: I think that it's important for patients to understand their what is happening with their health and how they can actively participate in becoming and staying as healthy as possible. I have a good sense of humor which I think helps to put people at ease and makes it easier for them to ask questions. I enjoy taking care of the whole spectrum on family medicine including pediatrics, obstetrics, womens health, preventative medicine, and acute and chronic illness. Biography: Shingo Chihara, MD, specializes in general infectious diseases, travel medicine, medical microbiology, non-tuberculosis mycobacteria and caring for patients with HIV. Dr. Chihara enjoys working in an area of medicine where patients improve with intervention. Biography: Eileen Bailey, MD, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who enjoys caring for medically complex patients of all ages, with special medical interest in women's health. Her areas of expertise include general internal medicine, preventive medicine, geriatrics, women's health, cardiology and treatment of anxiety and depression. A concierge medicine physician, Dr. Bailey loves meeting new people and building strong bonds with her patients. She does this by finding common connections, and ensuring that her patients feel listened to, understood and cared for. Biography: Paul Kassab, MD, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who handles the spectrum of illnesses that affect adults. He diagnoses and helps treat chronic illness. He promotes health, helps prevent disease and handles whatever problems a patient brings, no matter how common or rare. He especially enjoys solving puzzling diagnostic situations where severe illnesses strike at the same time. His other medical interests include teaching resident physicians, bioethics and exploring how the Mediterranean diet affects general health.As part of the Virginia Mason Concierge Medicine program, Dr. Kassab loves the connections he makes with his patients and enjoys being able to give his all to each patient, every day.Dr. Kassab is a former executive council member with the Washington chapter of the American College of Physicians. Care Philosophy: Kristen Pomeroy, DO, is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who cares for patients ages 18 and older. She holds special expertise and interest in minimally invasive robotic surgery, high risk pregnancy and infertility. Dr. Pomeroy is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and member of American Osteopathic Association and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Away from work, she loves exploring the outdoor beauty of the Pacific Northwest with her husband, daughter and two dogs. She also enjoys cooking, film festivals and theater.
