He completed his medical school at the world-renowned University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine before a five-year residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He specialized in spine with a combined orthopaedic and neurosurgery spine fellowship at the University of Texas and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Dr. Mody received board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He met his wife Dr. Ashley White, a fellow Shreveport-Bossier native and current pediatric resident, while attending Centenary College. Dr. White completed his residency in pediatrics at LSU Health Shreveport. He was awarded the Outstanding Intern Award during his first year of residency. His final year of residency, he served as chief resident and was awarded the Outstanding Resident Award at graduation.
