She earned her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center.Dr. Wood is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Wood enjoys practicing obstetrics and gynecology which provides an opportunity to care for women at all stages of their lives. She is honored to be part of the pregnancy journey and birth experience of so many mothers and families. She is also committed to educating her patients about preventative care and healthy lifestyles and believes in shared medical decision making.In her free time, Dr. Wood loves spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys travel and sporting events, especially gymnastics and football.Dr. Wood is accepting new OB and gynecology patients at both practice locations in Richmond and Chesterfield.
