Following his fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology, Dr Wiggins served for one year as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatric Ophthalmology at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital and since 1991 has practiced at Asheville Eye Associates. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Board of the American Association of Ophthalmic Executives, and the Board of the Ophthalmic Mutual Insurance Company.

Biography: Dr. Ian Kirchner is an ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma treatment. Dr. Kirchner earned his bachelor's degree from Wheaton College and his doctorate from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. His ophthalmology residency was at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore/Krieger Eye Institute, and he was chief resident during his final year. His glaucoma fellowship was at the Yale University Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, where he was also an instructor.
