Care Philosophy: Kristy Wells, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon who performs surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center and St. Anne Hospital. Dr. Wells has a special medical interest in emergency general surgery. Dr. Wells takes a maternalistic approach to patient care. She seeks to understand each patient's goals and to help them achieve them. Her role is to assist, not judge. Dr. Wells' focus on patient-centered care resulted in the receipt of an Award for Outstanding Patient Satisfaction for five consecutive years. Away from work, Dr. Wells enjoys spending time with her kids and dogs, and getting to know the beautiful city of Seattle.

Biography: Anna Hubbard, MD, is a well-rounded general surgeon with exposure to both acute care surgery and bread-and-butter general surgery, including hernias, gallbladder disease, breast surgery, benign anorectal conditions, skin and soft tissues masses, diverticular disease and colon cancer. She also has experience with basic endoscopy, robotic surgery and complex laparoscopy. Dr. Hubbard strives to provide high-quality, evidence-based management of surgical disease. She has a thoughtful, compassionate approach to every patient interaction.Away from work, Dr. Hubbard enjoys hiking, sailing, badminton, singing karaoke, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is beginning to dabble in cooking.

Care Philosophy: Surgical care for patients is my passion; making sure my patients receive excellent medical and surgical care, with all options; helping each step along the way- to schedule efficiently, and set up followup appointments quickly by friendly caring staff, who answer phones when you call. I am a rare surgeon, completely independent; I hold privileges in all area hospital systems: MultiCare and CHI- Fransican, and out -patient at Meridian Surgery Center. My patient are not just down streamed in referrals loops within a system directed employed providers, but with my independence- my patients have all options, and I help them all through the process.

Care Philosophy: I believe in educating my patients about their disease and condition and the expected results so they can make an educated decision about their care. I will counsel and advise them about what i think is the best option based upon their particular situation, my education and 25 years of experience. I strongly believe in crafting a highly individualized treatment plan, based upon the patient's physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
