He then joined the prestigious Georgetown University Medical School and served as an associate professor for nine years. When it comes to complicated diseases, Dr. Bayasi practices a multidisciplinary approach. This means involving other specialties to make sure patients get the best treatment option available. Dr. Bayasi specializes in minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Care Philosophy: In addition to treating many aspects of general surgery, Dr. Meikle focuses his practice on the expert treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the colon, rectum and anus. He is keenly aware of the apprehension that many patients may feel when they need to see a physician for a colorectal surgery problem and strives to make the patient feel as comfortable as possible throughout their treatment course.
