Biography: Yaiyun Judy Cheng, known as "Dr. Judy " by many, was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the US at age 13. Dr. Cheng received her undergraduate degree (BS) in Biology from Trinity University. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from UT Health Science Center and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Dr. Cheng is passionate about women's health at every stage of their lives. She loves seeing patients in the office, delivering babies and performing surgeries. Her priority is for patients to feel comfortable to discuss their problems and private matters. She believes in quality care through education, collaboration and joint decision making with her patients. Dr. Cheng has been specially trained on vNOTES (Transvaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) hysterectomy and other common gynecologic procedures. It is a new minimally invasive, advanced gynecologic technique that provides many benefits to female patients, such as no abdominal scars, shorter hospital stays, less pain and faster recovery times. Biography: Dr. Boyd is a native Texan, born in Austin and raised in Houston, growing up in Clear Lake. She graduated from the University of Texas in 1992 with a BA in English-Honors. She then returned to Houston where she received her MD with Honors from Baylor College of Medicine in 1997. She decided a change of scenery was in order and did her residency in Denver, Colorado at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She was in private practice for one year in New York before coming home to Kingwood in 2002.

She asked me if I had any questions but I could tell by the look on her face that she was praying I did not ask any. Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Dr. Shaunna Mason is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Although she is not a Houston native, she has been happy to call Houston home for the past 15 years. Originally from Greenville, TX, a small town in East Texas, she knew very early on that she wanted to be a physician and care for families. After graduating high school, she attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN earning Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and the Biology Honor Society. During her time in Memphis, she enjoyed volunteering at St. Jude's Children's Hospital. She also spent time at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital where she participated in an undergraduate pediatric internship, as well as outside research in infection disease with a focus in RSV. In 2004, she relocated to Houston, TX to pursue her medical doctorate at The University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. During medical school she participated in teaching through the JAMP undergraduate pre-med program with a focus in embryology. She was also a member of the American Medical Women's Association and graduated in the top 1/3 of her class. She is originally from Waco, Texas, but moved to Fort Worth, Texas for college. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from TCU in 2004 with a degree in Chemistry.
