Dr. Walusimbi is board certified in Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Walusimbi is a Professor at Boonshoft School of Medicine of Wright State University. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Association for the Surgery for Trauma, and the Eastern Association for Surgery for Trauma. Dr. Walusimbi specializes in Acute Care Surgery, Trauma, and Critical Care. He treats a wide spectrum of critical conditions, including complex trauma injuries, respiratory failure, general surgery emergencies, and wounds. His comprehensive approach includes traumatic wound management and surgical interventions, such as minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic abdominal surgery. Biography: Patrick A. Larreategui, DO, FACOS is a board certified, general surgeon who received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, East Lansing, MI. He completed his general surgery residency at Botsford General Hospital, Farmington Hills, MI. He joined Miami County Surgeons in 2003. Dr. Larreategui has been a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons since 2006. He is active on several committees at Upper Valley Medical Center and has served in several positions; 2nd Vice President of Medical Staff (2016), Chair of Credentialing Committee (2015), Surgery Department Chair 2013-2015.
