Biography: Dr. Flor Limas was born in Pharr, Texas and raised in the northern part of Mexico. Ever since she can remember she had always wanted to become a doctor. Helping those in need has always brought happiness to her life. As a result, she attended the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and graduated in 2005 with a degree in PreMed Biology and minor in Chemistry. Dr. Limas then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she obtained her Medical Doctor degree in 2009. During those four years in medical school, she was privileged to experience many different areas of medicine and during her OB/GYN rotation, she fell in love with women's health. Dr. Limas enjoyed the satisfaction of improving the life of many women, spending time explaining their conditions, and ultimately having a great impact in each of the lives of the women and their families. The variety she found in the OB/GYN field gave her the opportunity to integrate surgery, preventive medicine, education to women plus experiencing the miracle of pregnancy and delivery. She stayed at the University for the residency program and completed the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences Specialty in 2013. She enjoys working in the Rio Grande Valley caring for women of all ages. Her medical interests include minimally invasive gynecological surgery and high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Limas enjoys dancing and spending time with friends and family. Biography: Liliana Padilla-Williams, MD, FACOG was born and raised in Brownsville Texas. After graduating from high school she went to Texas A&M University for her undergraduate studies, then on to The University of Texas at Houston Medical School. She completed her residency training in Shreveport, La where she met her husband. She is currently board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and provides up to date evidence based medicine to all her patients.Her main interests involve educating her patients in living a quality lifestyle including healthy eating, proper exercise, and preventive medicine to avoid life long illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity. She feels starting at a young age will provide the needed foundation to a healthy life. She offers nutritional counseling as well as vitamin supplementation. She sees women in all stages of their reproductive life from childhood issues, to postmenopausal women.
