Biography: Dr. Jack Levy is a double board-certified Mohs Micrographic and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgeon who joins the Israel Englander Department of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medicine.After a career in the arts, Dr. Levy completed his premedical studies at Columbia University and earned his medical doctorate at Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed his post-graduate training in internal medicine and dermatology at Mount Sinai and Emory University Hospitals, respectively, serving as chief resident in his final year. His approach is holistic and evidence-based; he considers the patient, not just the skin.Dr. Levy received advanced fellowship training at Laser and Surgery Specialists of New York and New Jersey, one of the few fellowship programs in the nation that trains fellows in micrographic surgery (the gold standard treatment for skin cancers) and facial cosmetic, laser, and reconstructive surgery.
