Biography: K.V. Narayanan Menon, MBBS, MD, FRCP, FACP, FAASLD is board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology, bringing more than 20 years of experience in liver and hepatobiliary diseases. Dr. Menon is the medical director of the Liver Transplant program at Medical City Transplant Institute in Dallas, Texas, and the medical director of Medical City Liver & Digestive Disease Specialists. Dr. Menon's specialty interests include liver transplantation and hepatobiliary neoplasia, in addition to treating and managing patients with any form of liver disease. Dr. Menon started his career at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota in 2000, serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Mayo Medical School, where he spent seven years. Following his tenure at Mayo Clinic, he moved to Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio where he spent 14 years as a staff physician in the department of gastroenterology and hepatology. He was appointed medical director of Liver Transplantation at Cleveland Clinic in 2015. In 2021, the team performed the highest number of liver transplants in the history of the program. Dr. Menon is a member of multiple professional including the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and the American Society for Advanced Endoscopy. In addition, Dr. Menon has been elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, the American College of Physicians, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. Dr. Menon has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and abstracts, made multiple presentations at national and international meetings, has written numerous book chapters and editorials, and enjoys research. He lives in Dallas with his wife and two children.

Biography: Dr. Soomro is an Interventional Neurologist at Texas Stroke Institute (TSI). She joined TSI in July of 2018 as an Interventional Neurology fellow and completed fellowship in July of 2020. She did her Neurology residency training at Saint Louis University and subsequently finished two years of Vascular Neurology fellowship combined with National Institute of Health funded research year at University of Texas Health Sciences in Houston. Dr. Soomro strives on practicing patient centered care and incorporates evidence based medicine in her clinical decision making.
