Biography: As a doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO), I practice a patient-centered, holistic, hands-on approach to diagnosing and treating illness and injury. I was taught to think of the person as a unity of mind, body and spirit. Everything is interconnected, so I'm not just caring for a person physically, but I understand they have emotional needs too. Patient and family education is an important piece in the patient-physician relationship. I am trained in OB-GYN and I provide health care for women in all stages of their life including preventive exams, contraception, pregnancy and delivery care, infertility, menstrual issues, minimally-invasive surgeries, and menopausal therapies. In 2014 I spent four weeks in Africa for a medical mission trip, and I hope to go on more medical mission trips in the future.

Biography: I enjoy the balance of my office practice, obstetrical care and surgery, but I am especially interested in gynecological surgery and adolescent obstetrics and gynecology. I value the relationships I have with my patients through the exciting times, such as childbirth, and through the challenging times, like perimenopause or gynecological problems. I enjoy the multispecialty group and mentality that Park Nicollet offers at Shakopee and St Francis Hospital.

Biography: I enjoy all aspects of my career as a general OB-GYN, from contraception and obstetrical care to gynecologic issues such as irregular or heavy periods and menopause needs. Because the interactions OB-GYN doctors have with women are deeply personal, I place an emphasis on partnering with my patients to provide the best care possible throughout all the stages of a woman's life. When surgery is necessary, I offer minimally invasive options and several operations that can be done in the office setting to decrease discomfort, downtime and expense for a patient.
