Dr. Townsend is a former dancer who spent 6 years performing professionally and teaching dance prior to earning her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She received her MD from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York-Presbyterian Columbia and Cornell. Dr. Hana Azizi graduated from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center.
