Dr Haider has developed numerous innovative spinal implants and synthetic bone substitutes that are currently used worldwide. Dr Haider and his wife Salma are co-founders of the Children's Spine Foundation, a Charity focused on securing early intervention and treatment of spinal disorders for children without financial means. Dr. Haider receive the Chancellors Medal of Honor in 1997 and the National AMA Pride in the Profession Award in 2001. He continues to receive multiple commendations and awards both locally and nationally for his surgical innovation, community service and his philanthropy.
