Biography: Dr. Tracy Elliott is a cum laude graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Biology. She completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she received the Outstanding Medical Student in Obstetrics and Gynecology award in 1997. Dr. Elliott received her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas in Wichita where she served as administrative chief resident. She has been in Private Practice since 2002 and has been practicing in Frisco since 2004. In addition to her busy medical practice, Dr. Elliott has worked hard to build the hospital OB/GYN services at the places she has worked. Initially at Centennial Medical Center where she served in many roles including Chairman of the OB/GYN Department and Chief of the Medical staff, and now at Medical City Frisco where she has served as Chairman of the OB/GYN Department, Maternal Medical Director, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Campus Medical Committee. She feels very strongly about providing the best care possible for her patients. This starts with exceptional care in the office where patients are treated with compassion and their needs are addressed from start to finish including support from the office staff and ancillary services like lab and imaging. It continues into the hospital setting, where she works with the administrators and the nurses to make sure all the patient's needs are met in the most caring and technologically advanced setting possible. She chose to be an OB/GYN because she loves being able to take care of her patients through multiple phases of their lives, from early contraceptive needs, to pregnancy care, to menopausal issues. She also loves delivering babies and doing surgery, which provide excitement and challenges not seen in the office. When Dr. Elliott is not in the office, she loves spending time with her family and her dogs. She enjoys exercising, traveling, fishing, and art projects as her favorite leisure activities.

Biography: Establishing a solid foundation of trust with my patients is my ultimate goal as a physician. Because I strongly believe the best medical care is tailored to the individual, I find it important to take an unhurried approach during our appointments. Getting to know my patients and learning about their lives and families, puts me in a better position to address their medical needs. I wholeheartedly believe healthcare is a collaborative effort, and this is the cornerstone for all my patient interactions. From an OB perspective, I believe every woman should be supported and given the opportunity to have a vaginal delivery. I am a big advocate for natural labor, and as such, have tremendous amounts of experience in VBACs.As part of my background, I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I then pursued my graduate degree in Medical Science from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. I stayed in Fort Worth to complete my medical education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. After medical school, I moved to El Paso, Texas, and completed my medical residency in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology with Texas Tech Health Science Center - El Paso, at the University Medical Center. Dealing with high surgical volume enabled me to become proficient with the robotic platform, and also performing both vaginal surgery and minimally invasive surgery.

Biography: Dr. Cesar Reyes began Comprehensive OB/GYN as a sole provider in 2006. When he started his practice, he envisioned a growing community where he could provide stellar health care to women it appears the choice was the right one. Dr. Reyes looks forward to continuing to provide unmatched health care to his patients and is looking forward to someday being able to deliver a baby of the babies that he has delivered.Dr. Reyes grew up, you may say, in an OB/GYN medical office. His father is an OB/GYN. Dr. Reyes oftened waited in his father's office and at the hospital for him to finish seeing patients. He was interested in medicine and his experiences growing up led Dr. Reyes to choose women's healthcare. While in school, sciences such as biology and anatomy came naturally to Dr. Reyes it just made sense. His high school classmates all wrote in his yearbook that he would someday become a doctor it happened to be obvious to his classmates as well.Dr. Reyes grew up in Texas with three brothers and one sister. In addition to his father, one brother, sister, his sister-in-law, as his wife, Dr. Renee Chan, all OB/GYN's. Dr. Reyes' family has been a part of more than 30,000 deliveries! His other brother is a dentist locally in the McKinney area. Medicine and taking care of people seems to be a family tradition.Dr. Reyes attended a university and medical school that has been ranked by US News and World report as one of the country's best. While at St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO, he earned several awards for excellence and was honored by being selected to serve as the Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Reyes was also actively engaged in research and studied the effects of both diabetic and hypertensive disorders on fetal growth patterns during pregnancy.Dr. Reyes believes it is important for his patients to know that he truly takes his work seriously. He takes his time to ensure patients receive excellent care and they understand their course of treatment. Dr. Reyes stays on top of current trends and treatments to provide his patients with the latest and greatest that medical science has to offer, so they have the best possible outcomes. Dr. Reyes' believes in following through with the care offered to patients this is how he practices medicine. His patients often tell him they appreciate the time he takes to explain the type of care that would be best for them and believes that he has happier patients because of this. When Dr. Reyes is not working, he enjoys making a mean steak on the grill for family and friends. Dr. Reyes enjoys music of all kinds and also enjoy sports, both as a participant and a spectator.

Biography: Dr. Newsom grew up in Southlake, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University then returned to Texas to attend UT Southwestern Medical School. She remained in Dallas to complete her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Parkland Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Society and a Fellow the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.Dr. Newsom loves caring for women through all of the stages of womanhood.
