Biography: Dr. Fidanza received his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University in Louisville, KY in 1993. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Dutchess County Department of Mental Hygiene in Poughkeepsie, NY. He completed his post-doctoral master™s degree in Clinical Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ in 2007. He went on to receive his Medical Psychology license in 2009 and is licensed as an Advanced Practice Medical Psychologist. He served as the Director of Behavioral Health for Southeast Community Health Systems from 2010-2021, where he assisted in the design and implementation of an Integrated Model of Healthcare between Primary Care, Dental and Behavioral Health. He was the team Sport Psychologist for the Houston Astros from 2010-2016, where he provided performance enhancement and behavioral healthcare to players from the minor to major league level. Dr. Fidanza has been on staff at Ochsner since March 2021 and practicing Clinical Psychology since 1993 and Medical Psychology since 2010. Dr. Fidanza performs psychiatric assessment, consultation, medication management, individual, family and group therapy with children and adolescents ages 6-18. His specialties include child and adolescent anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, ADHD, anger management and divorce issues. He has a special interest in sport psychology, focusing on performance enhancement with athletes, utilizing mindfulness meditation, visual imagery, hypnosis and the implementation of growth mindset training. Biography: Dr. Kara Dingess is a licensed psychologist who received her doctoral training at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She completed internship and fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine with an emphasis on pediatric psychology.
