Care Philosophy: Amanda Burns, MD is a general surgeon with nearly a decade&rsquos experience providing surgical care for women. Dr. Burns specializes in breast surgery and she encourages patients to be actively involved in their health care treatment. Dr. Burns utilizes the latest techniques and procedures to provide the highest level of care for her patients. She is skilled in minimally invasive and hidden scar surgical techniques, nipple sparing mastectomy and breast conservation therapy. In addition, she also focuses on thyroid and parathyroid surgery, specializing in surgery for both benign and malignant processes. Dr. Burns also performs many other general surgery procedures, including minimally invasive hernia repair, abdominal surgery, and removal of skin lesions and skin cancers. She is proud to provide these therapies and her unique perspective to the women of northern and central Florida. In her spare time she enjoys biking, spending time with her friends and family and outdoor activities.

Care Philosophy: Dan Tran, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced fellowship training in minimally invasive surgery. Based in Tavares, he specializes in hernia repair, gallbladder removal, anti-reflux surgery, bowel resection and additional general surgery

Biography: Rebecca Gill, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon in the Port Orange/New Smyrna Beach area. After pursuing her undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Boulder, she received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and then completed her general surgery residency at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, MO. Dr. Gill has a special focus on breast surgery, and believes strongly in personalized care, considering each patient's needs and ensuring they are comfortable with and well-informed regarding their plans of care. She is Hidden-Scar certified and has additional oncoplastic surgery training.
