Care Philosophy: A diagnosis of cancer can be a time where people feel very little control. My favorite part of caring for people with cancer is putting the control back in their lives by making them feel knowledgeable about their diagnosis, helping them gain an understanding of their treatment choices and helping them make personalized decisions that take their priorities and values in consideration for a plan they feel comfortable with. I see patients who have been diagnosed with breast and gynecologic cancers. I see patients ranging from the standard of care to those participating in late phase trials and early trials in our drug development unit.
