Biography: Annie Fu, MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian/Allen Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Upstate Medical University in 2011 and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baystate Medical Center-Tufts University Medical Center in 2015. She then completed a fellowship in Family Planning at CUIMC and obtained a master's degree at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in 2017. Her current research interests include improving access to family planning services.

Biography: Dr. Lauren Ruggiero is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who provides a broad scope of women's healthcare services, such as pregnancy and postpartum care, contraceptive placement, and annual health maintenance exams. Dr. Ruggiero provides both in-office and hospital-based obstetric and gynecologic care. She specializes in performing ambulatory procedures such as intrauterine device insertion, manual vacuum aspiration, and hysteroscopy.Dr. Ruggiero completed her medical degree at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and her residency training at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve. Since 2017, she has been a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2024, as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology.Throughout her career, Dr. Ruggiero has worked with a variety of diverse patient populations. Care Philosophy: Dr. Melanie Marin has been a practicing gynecologist at New York Physicians (newyorkphysicians.com) since 1997. She practices office gynecology and gynecologic surgery. From the first time you call to become a patient through every interaction, you will be treated with respect and courtesy. Prior to your first visit, you will be sent forms so that you can fill out your medical history at your own pace. You will also be given the information to register for the secure patient portal so that you can communicate electronically with Dr. Marin and her staff through a private messaging portal. Your private information will stay private. After you arrive in the office and check in, Dr. Marin will greet you personally and invite you into her office to listen to your story, your questions and your concerns before the examination. When your results are ready, even if they are completely normal, you will receive an email message that asks you to return to the patient portal to view the communication from Dr. Marin or her staff about your results and any needed follow up. You can ask any further questions through the portal or ask Dr. Marin to give you a call. If you are more comfortable communicating by phone or in person, you can call the office or make a follow up appointment to review your results and questions. Biography: Holli Jakalow, MD, MS is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist. She received her medical degree at Albany Medical College, and completed her residency at The University of Vermont Medical Center. She also received a Master of Science degree in Complementary and Alternative Medicine from Georgetown University, and brings this interest to her clinical practice. Her other clinical interests include wellness care, contraception counseling, office-based procedures, and general gynecology. She is the Ryan Program Director and also the course director for the medical student elective in family planning.
