Biography: Dr. Chu was raised in Plano, Texas. She graduated from Rice University in Houston with dual bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Philosophy. She then moved to Dallas to complete her medical education at UT Southwestern, graduating with a distinction in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospital. There, she became equipped to provide the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Chu is extensively trained in in-office procedures, operative deliveries, and robotic, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic approaches to surgery. Dr. Chu has special interests in routine health maintenance, contraception, both low-risk and high-risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, and the menopausal transition. She greatly values the patient-physician relationship and enjoys serving women through all stages of their lives. Dr. Chu looks forward to providing individualized care and advocating for your health. She belongs to the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society. Outside of medicine, her hobbies include indoor bouldering with her partner Chris, exploring the DFW food scene, and spending time with her family in North Texas.

Biography: Amber Darr, MD is originally from Houston, Texas and began her education at the University of Texas where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then returned to Houston where she earned her Doctor of Medicine at McGovern Medical School. After graduation she joined much of her family in Dallas where she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center. She earned multiple accolades, her favorite of which is her resident teaching award. Dr. Darr is a board eligible OBGYN physician who is a member of multiple professional societies including the American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, and the Association of Women Surgeons through which she provides mentorship to other women in medicine. She chose to pursue a career in OBGYN due to her passion for primary care, surgery, and patient relationships all while getting to empower women through healthcare. She is a robotically trained surgeon who offers a range of surgeries including minimally invasive, in office, and open abdominal procedures. She provides services for women in all walks of life including well woman care, contraception, basic infertility, ovarian pathology, and abnormal pap smears. She enjoys both high risk and routine obstetrics including VBACs and natural childbirth.Outside of the office, Dr. Darr is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves to garden, take art classes, have picnics at the Arboretum, and is always planning her next travel destination with her husband.
