Care Philosophy: Talkspace partners with care providers who find satisfaction in providing therapy in a way that prioritizes the clients convenience and preferences. Because all therapy takes place virtually, through messaging, live virtual sessions, or both, providers can communicate more frequently and casually in comparison to traditional face-to-face therapy. Talkspace treatment methods are supported by scientific research and are committed to non-judgmental care that is inclusive and respectful of cultural and other identities. Talkspace patients are matched with the best provider for them based on their needs and availability during the registration process. Once matched with a provider, patients may change at any time, and may contact support to request a specific provider. *The above is attributed to Talkspace and not the provider.*

Biography: Dr. Jonathan Ni is a psychiatrist serving adults of all ages across California. He was born and raised in California, received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, and completed his psychiatry training at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where he gained valuable clinical experience treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders within a diverse population. Dr. Ni believes that effective mental health care begins with developing a clear understanding of each individual's unique background and experiences. He is interested in helping patients achieve their goals not only with regards to alleviating and addressing their symptoms, but also in the broader context of their lives in general. He works closely with his patients to identify thinking patterns, behaviors, and other factors that may be contributing to their symptoms. In collaboration with the patient, he develops a comprehensive treatment plan that may include medication management, psychotherapy, and/or lifestyle adjustments, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care aimed at promoting meaningful change.
