Dr. Tullius received his medical degree at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha Nebraska after completing a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Biology from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio. He has extensive training in pediatrics, completing pediatric internship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego and pediatric residency at the University of California-Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. Dr. Tullius completed flight surgeon training at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, FL, and his pediatric hematology/oncology as well as his cellular therapy fellowships at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He served in the United States Navy achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander and receiving numerous awards and commendations for his outstanding service. Dr. Tullius has a U.S. Patent on a cellular therapy for treating microbial infections, and a patent pending for an innovative website he helped design to improve access to and awareness of clinical trials. An accomplished medical practitioner, Dr. Tullius specializes in cellular therapies, cancer immunotherapy, innate immunity and stem cell transplantation.

Clarke, DO, MA, is a board-certified pediatric hematologist and oncologist who earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Master of Arts in Bioethics from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, MO, in 2018. After his initial recruitment to join the bone marrow transplant faculty at UF in Gainesville as an assistant professor, Dr. Hiemenz moved to Tampa to help establish the newly formed Division of Bone Marrow Transplantation at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center under the leadership of its founding director, Dr. Gerald Elfenbein (another former UF faculty member). His subsequent academic appointments have included Professor and Co-Director of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at the Medical College of Georgia, and most recently Professor, and Director, Hematological Malignancies and BMT Program as well as Head, Infectious Diseases Research Program at the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Hiemenz has recently returned to Gainesville and rejoins the faculty as Professor of Medicine to assist in the continued growth of the University of Florida/Shands Bone Marrow Transplant and Leukemia Program.
