Biography: Dr. Joseph P. Alukal is The Andrew Sabin Family Foundation Associate Professor in the Department of Urology; he is also Director of Men's Health at Columbia/NewYork-Presbyterian and Fellowship Director in Andrology/Male Reproductive Health. He serves as the Medical Director for Access-to-Care for ColumbiaDoctors. Dr. Alukal serves in a number of roles at a national and international level for professional specialty and subspecialty organizations, including the American Urological Association (AUA), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction (SSMR), of which he is a past-President and current Board Member. As a member of the AUA Ambassadors, he have lectured internationally to the Urologic Professional Societies of countries including India, Italy, and Bangladesh. He has authored or been a co-author on nearly 50 peer-reviewed publications and scientific book chapters and as well is the lead editor of the book "Design and Implementation of the Modern Men's Health Center." While as a fellow, he was funded by an AUA Foundation Award. Dr. Alukal currently serves at Columbia in a number of roles, including his service on the ColumbiaDoctors PO Strategy Committee. As well, he is the Clinical Director for the NYP Reproductive Tissue Bank, in addition to serving on the NYP Tissue Bank Medical Advisory Committee. He maintains a busy clinical practice in men's health, male infertility, male sexual dysfunction, and general urology and has been named to Castle Connolly's Top Doctors New York Metro Area every year since 2016. He is currently named to New York Magazine's Top Doctors 2024. He maintains extensive clinical collaborative relationships with numerous IVF centers, primary care, and cardiology practices in and around the New York City area. He has a Master's in Business Administration from Columbia Business School.

Biography: Dr. Katherine Husk is a board-certified Urogynecologist, specializing in the care of women with pelvic floor disorders, including care for conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence/accidental bowel leakage, bladder pain, pelvic pain, and urinary, and bowel dysfunction. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for these conditions, including non-surgical management, office-based procedures, and a range of surgical approaches including robotic, abdominal, and vaginal with both native-tissue and mesh augmented surgeries.Dr. Husk has a particular interest in medical education and completed a Master of Education in the Health Professions program which included a focused track in education research. She has also held roles with an education focus at both institutional and national levels. Her primary areas of interest for clinical research include patient experience and knowledge, patient counseling, patient outcomes, and medical education research, involving research related to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.She completed her undergraduate education at Brown University (Providence, RI), medical school at New York University School of Medicine (New York, NY), Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Thomas Jefferson University (Philadelphia, PA), and Urogynecology fellowship at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). She additionally completed a Master of Education in the Health Professions through Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Urogynecology. Dr. Husk joined Weill Cornell Medicine in 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Prior to joining Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Husk worked in the division of Urogynecology at Albany Medical Center.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Michael Rotman is a board-certified urologist. Dr. Rotman received his Bachelor's Degree from NYU, where he was a recipient of the NIH Research Fellowship Award (1994), and the Praecis Scholar Award (2002), and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society (1993). After receiving his Bachelor's Degree from NYU in 1993, he went on to receive his M.D. license in 1997, at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Rotman completed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in 2002, where he served as Chief Urology resident for three years. He then became a member of the American Board of Urology in 2004.

Biography: Christina P. Carpenter, M.D., M.S., is Assistant Professor of Urology and Interim Chief of Pediatric Urology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). She specializes in pediatric urology, seeing patients from before birth to 18 years. She has a particular expertise in robotic and reconstructive surgery. She also has a strong interest in outcomes research, as she believes that analyzing past experiences is critical to optimizing future care. Dr. Carpenter graduated Cum Laude with Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Minor in Hispanic Studies from The College of William and Mary. She completed her medical degree, internship and residency at Rutgers University New Jersey Medical School. She simultaneously completed her fellowship and Masters of Science in Epidemiology at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Carpenter is accepting new patients at NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital on 3959 Broadway (between 165th Street and Broadway).
