Biography: Dr. Gordon-Elliott earned her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in 2004. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine, serving as co-Chief Resident in 2009-10, and pursued a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison (C-L) Psychiatry (Psychosomatic Medicine) at Columbia University Medical Center. On faculty at WCM since 2011, Dr. Gordon-Elliott is a former Chief of the Psychiatric Consultation-Liaison Service. She has served as the transplant psychiatrist for the WCM/NYP Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Program, Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation Program, and Liver Disease and Transplantation Program, and she has provided psychiatric care in the WCM student mental health program.She has been active as a teacher and supervisor of trainees, including medical students, physician assistant students, residents and fellows. She previously served as the WCM Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Student Life, the Director of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry and the Site Program Director for the C-L Psychiatry Fellowship of Memorial Sloan Kettering and NYP. She has contributed as a study clinician to NIH- and DoD-funded studies in the areas of grief and traumatic stress. Dr. Gordon-Elliott has published in areas of medical psychiatry, eating disorders and psychiatric training and education. She is board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She has held leadership roles in local and national associations for Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She participates as a reviewer for medical journals and has been the recipient of research and teaching awards.

He also worked at the New Orleans Veterans Administration Medical Center where he headed the Opiate Substitution Program. Dr. Fe-Bornstein served as Chief of Inpatient Addiction Recovery services at Payne Whitney Westchester up until November 2010 and is currently an Attending Psychiatrist at Payne Whitney Manhattan. Dr. Fe-Bornstein has a limited evening private practice at Weill Cornell Psychiatry Specialties Center on East 62 St.He is a graduate of the National University in Mexico City.
