Biography: Dr. Jonathan Pavlinec, MD, a native of Florida, is one of few Endourological Society fellowship-trained urologists in the southeast with dual advanced training in robotic/laparoscopic surgery and endourology/stone disease. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology. He attended the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated at the top of his medical school class. He then completed his surgical training at UF Health Shands Hospital at the University of Florida. During his residency, he received numerous honors including the UF College of Medicine/Society of Teaching Scholars Outstanding Resident Educator Award. He also was a three-time recipient of the annual UF Department of Urology Academic Excellence Award. Following his graduation, he scored in the highest tier of The American Board of Urology Qualifying Exam and remained at UF for fellowship. While completing his fellowship, Dr. Pavlinec gained advanced training in complex robotic and laparoscopic urologic procedures, specifically in the areas of prostate and kidney surgery. He held Staff/Attending Urologist privileges at UF Health Shands Hospital and the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center as part of an adjunct-faculty appointment in the Department of Urology. In this role, his practice included many of the most challenging urologic conditions in the southeast, with an emphasis on complex kidney stone management. His commitment to patient-centered care and clinical/surgical excellence was recognized as he was peer-elected to the UF Chapter of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society at the conclusion of his UF appointment. His research has been published in several major urologic journals and textbooks in the areas of prostate cancer, kidney cancer, urologic reconstruction and kidney stone disease. He has also presented at numerous national and international urologic conferences, and his fellowship project studying kidney stone formation was awarded second place in the national Endourological Society Essay Contest.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Gina Arabitg provides more than basic exams. She is highly trained and skilled at a variety of surgeries, i.e. uterine balloon therapy. Additionally, she provides a variety of in office procedures such as: edometrial biopsy, colposcopy, polypectomy, lesion removal, and other minor procedures. For definitive management of breast masses, lumps, abnormalities, and cancers, we refer to a general surgeon.

Desai MD, FACOG, MPH joined Manatee Gynecology in 2011. she finished her residency in obstetrics and Gynecology at Parkland Hospital-University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Parkland Hospital is the largest oB/GyN training program in the nation and delivers more than 12,OOO babies a year.The program is recognized for authoring three major oB/GyN textbooks used to train obstetrician/gynecologists, worldwide-Williams Obstetrics, Williams Gynecology, and Essential Reproductive Medicine.After finishing her residency, she completed a fellowship in Minimallylnvasive Gynecological Surgery at the University of North Carolina,Chapel Hill where she further enhanced her skills in Laparoscopic andRobotic Surgery.While doing her fellowship, she also obtained her Master's Degree inPublic Health at the University of North Carolina, Gillings School ofPublic Health, which is ranked among the top three public healthschools in the nation. Her focus was complex female pain disorderssuch as chronic pelvic and intercourse related pain.Prior to moving back home to Florida, she spent two years as anAssistant Professor at the State University of New York - Stony BrookMedical Center, teaching medical students and residents. While livingin New York city, Dr. Desai worked with the William F. Ryancommunity Health Network, helping to provide comprehensivegynecological care to underserved communities.brDr. Desai's special interests include advanced laparoscopic androbotic surgery, chronic pain disorders including pain with intercourse,and minimally invasive treatments for abnormal bleeding, uterinefibroids, and endometriosis. In addition, she is trained on non-surgicalfacial aesthetics to continue helping women of any age to always feelbeautiful.She is board certified in obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American college of obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, and the Alpha omega Alpha Medical Honor society.
