Biography: Sarah E. Vollbracht, MD, FAHS, is a neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester and an associate professor of neurology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Prior to her position at the Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey, Dr. Bassett served as a team physician for the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers as well as Villanova University and Saint Joseph&rsquos University Athletics. She also served on the medical staff for several running events, including the Philadelphia Marathon. In addition to traveling with USA Gymnastics, Dr. Bassett is also the head team physician for Sussex County Community College and provides sideline medical coverage formany local high schools across Sussex and Morris Counties. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, presentations and book chapters on the diagnosis and management of sports-related injuries.
