Biography: Gregory A. Ward, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. In addition to being a candidate member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, he is licensed in Texas, and Illinois. Prior to his position as the Chairman of the Division of Surgery at Plaza Medical Center, he assisted the Center for Neurological Disorders and completed an internship in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois and subsequent neurosurgical training at Loyola University Medical Center. He received a fellowship in Peripheral Nerve Injury at Louisiana State University, New Orleans. His professional associations include Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and the Texas Medical Foundation.As a well-published author in the field of neurological surgery, Dr. Ward has been able share valuable concepts through presentations, articles, and abstracts. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He received his bachelor's of science degree with honors from Baylor University.
