Biography: Dr. Gutierrez graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University. Dr. Gutierrez is trained in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Electronic Fetal Monitoring. Biography: Molly Shields, M.D., was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University, San Antonio, then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2013.Dr. Shields provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care including routine and high risk prenatal care, well-woman exams and preventative care, contraceptive counseling and management, minimally invasive surgery and management of abnormal bleeding and menopausal symptoms. She delivers her patients at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital.Dr. Shields lives with her husband and two young sons. Her hobbies include photography, scuba diving and cooking for her family and friends.

She is a licensed OB/GYN who was twice awarded "Outstanding Teaching Resident" and has been a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society since 2012.An active volunteer in the community, Dr. Barnard's interests include educating women on preventative healthcare, providing care at various health fairs and clinics and instructing childbirth education classes. She is a Junior Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the author of multiple publications on a wide range of women's health issues.Dr. Barnard enjoys exploring her new home of San Antonio with her husband and daughter.
