Biography: Dr. Gutierrez graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University. Dr. Gutierrez is trained in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Electronic Fetal Monitoring. She instructed first year medical students and continues to seek out academic and research opportunities.Proficient in Spanish, Dr. Gutierrez volunteered with International Service Learning, providing medical care to underserved populations in Nicaragua.
