Biography: Dr. Gutierrez graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in biology. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University. Biography: Dr. Kathryn Holloway was raised in San Antonio and is delighted to be taking care of women in her hometown. She received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Neuroscience at Wellesley College, Boston, Massachusetts, then returned to Texas for her medical training. Dr. Holloway received her M.D. with Distinction in Research from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.Dr. Holloway completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. During her training, she developed an interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and completed research on the evaluation and teaching of OB/GYN residents' robotic surgical skills. Her research received an Honorable Mention award by the American Medical Association. During residency, she was also honored with the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award.Dr. Holloway chose a career in general Obstetrics and Gynecology because she enjoys caring for women of all ages. She is passionate about helping women live healthy lifestyles during and between pregnancies. As the daughter of a family of physicians, Dr. Holloway understands the commitment to the physician-patient relationship. She lives with her husband, who is also a physician, and their two children.
