Biography: Yaiyun Judy Cheng, known as "Dr. Judy " by many, was born in Taiwan and immigrated to the US at age 13. Dr. Cheng received her undergraduate degree (BS) in Biology from Trinity University. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from UT Health Science Center and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Dr. Cheng is passionate about women's health at every stage of their lives. She loves seeing patients in the office, delivering babies and performing surgeries. Her priority is for patients to feel comfortable to discuss their problems and private matters. She believes in quality care through education, collaboration and joint decision making with her patients. Dr. Cheng has been specially trained on vNOTES (Transvaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) hysterectomy and other common gynecologic procedures. It is a new minimally invasive, advanced gynecologic technique that provides many benefits to female patients, such as no abdominal scars, shorter hospital stays, less pain and faster recovery times. Dr. Cheng is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Texas Medical Association. When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Cheng enjoys spending time with her family, reading, painting and gardening. Biography: Erin Kate Cassiere, MD, FACOG, practices obstetrics and gynecology at WK Doctors for Women in Shreveport, Louisiana, as part of the Willis-Knighton Physician Network. Managing both high- and low-risk pregnancies is a special interest of Dr. Cassiere, as well as minimally invasive robotic surgeries. These advanced surgeries that require only three or four small punctures in the abdomen instead of a large, open cut are a huge benefit for patients. They often go home the same day as their surgery and recovery takes only a couple of weeks so patients can return to their normal routines quickly.In addition to advanced gynecologic procedures, Dr. Cassiere provides well-woman exams for teens and adult women on an annual basis.A native of Shreveport, Dr. Cassiere graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana and LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency in Indianapolis at Indiana University School of Medicine. She entered private practice in Utah before returning home to Shreveport. Dr. Cassiere is certified in OB-GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He provides gynecology services for women of all ages. He treats menstrual irregularities, abnormal Pap smears and he helps women manage symptoms of menopause. After earning his undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Sale went to medical school at LSU School of Medicine. His internship and obstetrics and gynecology residency took place at the Shreveport hospital and medical school.
