In addition to his extensive expertise as a pediatric surgeon, he holds a Master's in Healthcare Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He has a long history of developing successful multidisciplinary teams and child-centered programs focused on clinical quality improvement and providing exemplary patient care and outcomes.Before joining Greater Houston Pediatric Surgery, Dr. Patel Dr. Patel was the Medical Director of Pediatrix Surgeons of Houston. Dr. Patel also spent 17 years as a leader in the pediatric surgery program at Driscoll Children's Hospital. He served as Chief of Surgery, Surgical Director (PICU), and Trauma Medical Director. Dr. Patel is board-certified, holding his Board Certification from the American Board of Surgery in both Pediatric and General Surgery.
