Biography: Dr. Chris Moeder and his wife, Jessica (a native of Aledo, Texas) have made North Texas their home since he completed residency training at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital in 2019. He has since established a practice in Decatur and is excited to expand his practice to Willow Park opening July 2024. Dr. Moeder is board certified and credentialed as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a total practice robotic surgeon, starting the robotics program in Decatur in 2020. His surgical interests lie in robotic hernia repair, and he performs a variety of complex techniques including extensive preperitoneal (TAPP), totally extraperitoneal (ETEP), and transversus abdominus component separations (TAR). He is passionate about providing patients safe and successful outcomes using the best minimally invasive platform available. He performs approximately 300 robotic surgeries annually to include emergency surgeries, colorectal and reflux operations. As a general surgeon, he also provides surgical care for breast and skin malignancies, pilonidal disease, hemorrhoids, and in-office lumps and bumps.

Biography: Dr. Melcher is a board certified family medicine physician. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2001. He completed his residency at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, Texas in 2004.
