He helped develop an approach of using 3D Printing to make electrophysiology procedures safer and faster for patients. Dr. Mainigi has presented original research at many national and international scientific meetings and has authored numerous publications, book chapters and review articles in the fields of cardiology and electrophysiology, including a breakthrough catheter ablation study that has changed the way doctors often treat heart failure. This study was profiled in the Philadelphia Magazine Cover Story: ``Miracles: 28 New Ways Philly Doctors Can Save Your Life.`` He also serves on several national committees for the Heart Rhythm Society and American College of Cardiology.
