Biography: Dr. John-Paul ``J.P.`` Pham received his medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, WV followed by a residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville. He then completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health/Aurora Health Care followed by a subspecialty fellowship in interventional cardiology/peripheral vascular disease at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Pham is trained and certified in a variety of interventional and invasive cardiovascular procedures including cardiac catheterization (right and left heart), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), coronary atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR), valvuloplasty, mitral valve regurgitation intervention (MitraClip), patent foramen ovale (PFO)/atrial septal defect (ASD) closure, alcohol septal ablation, peripheral vascular intervention, peripheral vascular atherectomy, carotid angiography, vena cava filters, temporary ventricular assist device (Impella), intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), pericardiocentesis, temporary transvenous pacemaker (TVP), myocardial biopsy, implantable closure devices, and vein ablation and vein closure (Venaseal).
