Biography: Dr. Altman was born and raised in Ecuador and received her combined BA/MD degree from Universidad Catolica de Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard University community hospital in Cambridge, MA. Since 2006 she has been working as a primary care physician at Columbia University's Ambulatory Care Network. Dr. Altman joined Weill Cornell Medicine in May 2011.

Biography: Dr. Debasish Roychoudhury is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Attending Cardiologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, where he primarily sees patients in the Astoria office. Dr. Roychoudhury has been in practice for over 38 years and, specializes in Heart Disease, Internal Medicine, and Echocardiography.

Care Philosophy: As a board-certified general surgeon and surgical oncologist, I firmly believe in providing the best care to all of my patients. I believe in spending time with patients and families to ensure that they understand all of the options available to them. When surgery is indicated and the best course of action, I provide patients with the best surgical and medical care to ensure they can return to their lives and families.

Biography: Dr. Daniel Labow, MD is an Oncology Specialist who practices in New York, NY. He is 57 years old. Dr. Daniel Labow, MD is affiliated with Mount Sinai Brooklyn, Mount Sinai Queens and Mount Sinai Morningside.

Biography: Dr. Skeens attended medical school at Des Moines University in his home town in Iowa, and completed his residency at the nearby Mercy Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. He practiced primary care medicine with UnityPoint Clinics in Cedar Falls, Iowa, for nearly ten years, also serving as faculty for three years within the family medicine residency program, teaching and mentoring new physicians, both in clinic and hospital settings. A fun fact: Dr. Skeens graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and worked as a freelance illustrator for several years before entering medical school. Outside of medicine, he is generally found outdoors exploring new places with wife and dog, adventure cycling, running, or taking photographs. Dr. Skeens is thrilled to join Weill Cornell Medicine Primary Care and establish new roots in New York City.

Care Philosophy: "I am a medical oncologist with an expertise in breast cancer medicine. My focus is the multidisciplinary care and treatment of patients, especially those who have tumors that are high risk. Because I am a passionate advocate of personalized medicine, my goal is to develop new successful treatments that exploit our knowledge of the cancer genome and the immuno cell network for immunotherapy, in order to improve the outcomes of breast cancer patients. To do this, I actively participate in team science and recognize the importance of establishing strong connections with other disciplines involved in the care of patients and who are in the laboratory, as our goals are the same- to cure breast cancer. I view my patients as individuals and welcome open and inclusive communication when discussing treatment strategies as it is paramount they feel comfortable with an established treatment pathway."

Biography: Dr. David Wan is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Attending Physician at the New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.Dr. Wan earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Brown University prior to getting his medical degree at NYU where he graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center and his Gastroenterology fellowship at NYU.Dr. Wan has a wide variety of interests within gastroenterology and hepatology. One of his main roles will be in the training of gastroenterology fellows in endoscopy/colonoscopy and the inpatient consultation service. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American and New York Societies of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

I leverage the latest knowledge and technology to serve the needs of the patient. With rapidly advancing tools and growing demand for minimally invasive treatments, doctors who specialise in endoscopy are uniquely positioned to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care to our patients in a way that maximises quality of life. That is why I chose to become a gastroenterologist and specialise in endoscopic treatments. I try to help my patients manage complex conditions while minimising the disruption to their day-to-day lives.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Sharaiha is dedicated to putting her patients first. She has a special interest in the endoscopic treatment of obesity and the diseases of the pancreas and biliary tract, including pancreatitis, fluid collection, sphincter of oddi dysfunction and pancreatic cancer. She is grant funded for trials with malignant biliary obstruction. She sees patients for advanced endoscopic procedures, staging of GI cancers, and treatment or removal of early cancer lesions, surveillance and ablation of pancreatic cysts, and for obesity treatment.

Biography: Dr. Jill Rieger graduated from Harvard University and received her medical degree from Cornell University in 1998. She completed a residency in Primary Care/Internal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. Prior to joiningWeill Cornell Medical Associates at theIris CantorHealth Center in 2013, Dr. Rieger worked as an internist at The Hospital for Special Surgery for over 11 years. Dr. Rieger is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
