Biography: Dr. Kareem Eid, MD, is a highly accomplished and board-certified surgeon specializing in Transplant and General Surgery at HCA Florida Fawcett Surgical Specialists. He earned his MD from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2002, and a Master of Health and Science in 2006. Dr. Eid completed his Internship and Residency at Ain Shams University, followed by a US Residency at the University of Texas Health and Science Center, San Antonio, TX, in 2015. In 2017, he further specialized with a Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Eid's expertise and commitment to patient care make him a respected leader in the surgical field. Care Philosophy: Dr. Ross is an advanced gastrointestinal surgeon specializing in robotic and single incision laparoscopic operations for conditions of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, pancreas, gallbladder and liver. She was one of the first surgeons in the U.S. to offer laparo-endoscopic single site (LESS) surgery and continues to be a thought leader in developing new and improved minimally invasive procedures. She is co-director of the Advanced GI and HBP Surgery Fellowship at the Digestive Health Institute, which trains new surgeons to master minimally invasive complex surgery.

Biography: Keyur Chavda, MD, is a board certified bariatric and general surgeon who cares for patients ages 18 and older who speaks fluent English, Hindi, and Gujarati. In addition to bariatric surgery, Dr. Chavda treats patients who need various procedures, including acid reflux, hiatal hernia, gallbladder, spleen, stomach, and hernia surgeries. Dr. Chavda earned his medical degree from the B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He then completed his general surgery residency at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania and a bariatric fellowship at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. Dr. Chavda is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati. In his spare time, Dr. Chavda enjoys reading, riding his bike, traveling, and spending time with his family.
