Biography: Dr. Buckman has been practicing internal medicine since 1993 and joined Southboro Medical Group in 2002. She enjoys practicing internal medicine because it lets her treat the whole person and establish a long term personal relationship with her patients. ``I love helping people, biology, and the human body. I believe prevention can keep you healthy.`` When asked about her philosophy of care, Dr. Buckman explains that she works with her patients as a partner, keeping herself as the ``coach``. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her kids, draw/sketch, travel, and various athletic activities like skiing, hiking, running, and biking.
