Care Philosophy: Luv Hajirawala, MD is a board-certified General Surgeon with additional fellowship training in Colon and Rectal surgery. His specialties include, but are not limited to, the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, anal cancer, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, anorectal disease, gallbladder disease and hernias. He specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. He is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi and sees patients 18 and up. Dr. Hajirawala considers his patients his partners in the provision of their care. He strongly believes that patients should control their own medical care with the professional advice of a physician. His role in the clinic is to assist patients in understanding their disease process and establish the best treatment plan. In the operating room, his goal as a surgeon is to evaluate and apply state-of-the-art procedures, equipment and advances to achieve the best outcome. Dr. Hajirawala enjoys spending time outside of work with his wife and daughter, and being outdoors, whether on a hiking trail or at the beach.

Biography: Lourdes T Santiago, M.D. received her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Santiago also completed both a fellowship and research fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of South Florida. An advocate for education, Dr. Santiago gives regular presentations on the topics of colon and rectal cancers, including education reaching the Spanish-speaking population. Dr. Santiago is a proud Veteran, having served as a Major in the United States Army.

Care Philosophy: Dr Vogelbaum is an internationally known leader in neurosurgical oncology and a distinguished investigator in laboratory research, translational and clinical trials in gliomas. Dr Vogelbaum is currently Chief of Neurosurgery and Program Leader of the Department of Neuro-Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He has served on or led numerous scientific committees and holds an array of honors and awards, as well as leadership positions at the regional, national, and international levels. He is the principal investigator and co-investigator of a broad range of early-phase investigator-initiated therapeutic trials, both national and international multisite collaborative studies. He has published over 190 peer-reviewed and invited articles.

Care Philosophy: Dr Michelle Echevarria is an Assistant Member in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr Echevarria received her Medical Degree at Ponce School of Medicine, Ponce, Puerto Rico, and her Master of Science in Molecular Medicine at the University of South Florida. Dr Echevarria recently completed a Radiation Oncology Residency at Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida, where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr Echevarria's clinical interests include the use of advanced radiation techniques such as intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) in the treatment of head and neck cancers.
